PLOTTING OF SEDIMENTARY MICROFACIES IN FIFTH-CLASS BOUNDARY SURFACE SEQUENCE, ITS SIGNIFICANCE AND PRACTICE IN OIL FIELDS

Three advances on the contemporary petroleum geology are remarkable,i.e.sequence stratigraphy,3-D reservoir architecture and oil /gas detection.The paper reviews the significance and practicable way of plotting with sedimentary microfacies in fifth-class boundary surface sequence in a oilfield scale.Lastly it briefs the practical process,taking XLH Oil Field in east China as an example.
