基于不同岩性的总有机碳分段预测方法——以东营凹陷始新统沙河街组三段下亚段为例

Segmented prediction of TOC based on lithology: a case study of the lower sub-member of the third member of the Eocene Shahejie Formation, Dongying Sag, Bohai Bay Basin

  • 摘要: 陆相泥页岩具有非均质性强的特征,矿物组分、总有机碳含量(TOC)等参数的分布预测是陆相页岩油气资源评价与选区研究的基础。为获取陆相页岩地层上述关键参数纵向分布特征,克服测试实验周期长、成本高、取样难等现实问题,开展了相应关键参数测井预测方法研究。以渤海湾盆地东营凹陷始新统沙河街组三段下亚段为例,结合XRD实测数据以及测录井等资料,具体针对不同岩性选取不同TOC预测模型,建立了不同岩性的TOC识别模板。运用所构建的模型对Fy1井沙三下亚段的岩性、TOC进行典型预测,分段预测TOC方法得到的预测值与实测值之间的相关系数较高,约为0.84,表明该方法可行性较强,可为开展陆相页岩油资源评价及目标评价提供有效的技术支撑。

     

    Abstract: The continental mud shale has a strong heterogeneity, and the prediction of its mineral composition, TOC (total organic carbon content) and other parameters is critical for the evaluation and optimization of continental shale oil and gas abundance. To obtain the vertical distribution characteristics of these key parameters of the continental shale formation, and to ovoid the practical problems such as time-consuming experiments, high cost, and sampling difficulty etc., a research of the logging prediction method for key parameters was carried out. The lower sub-member of the third member of the Eocene Shahejie Formation (Es3) in the Dongying Sag of the Bohai Bay Basin was employed as an example, XRD measurements and logging were carried out based on which, various TOC prediction models were selected for different lithologies, and some TOC identification templates of different lithologies were established.The constructed model was then used to perform typical predictions on the lithology and TOC of the lower sub-member of the Shahejie Formation in well Fy1.The correlation coefficient between the predicted values obtained by the segmented prediction method for TOC and the measured values appeared to be relatively high (about 0.84), indicating that the method developed here is highly feasible and can provide effective technical support for the evaluation and target optimization of continental shale oil resources.
