Abstract: During explorations of gas condensate reservoir,external fluid and formation water may cause"water-Lock",which makes gas permeability decrease obviously and further reduces the yield of naturalgas and condensate oil.Taking water-locks in small gas condensate reservoirs of the Tahe Oil Field asexamples,lock mechanism was analyzed and several methods dealing with locks were compared.A tom-pound active block remover was introduced and applied in the Tahe Uas Condensate Field.
