Abstract: The Bachu-Magaiti region locates in the west of the Tarim Basin.It is one of the earliestexploration targets in the basin.In the year 20102 exploration wells were deployed in the region.Tectonic traps as well as lithology were studied.The Jason inversion is a practical technique in reservoirevaluation.It reflects the horizontal changes of reservoir lithology,helping exploration and deploymenttogether with regional sedimentary characteristics.
