Abstract: The factors and mechanisms of damages of injection water quality to reservoirs are analysed,based on the characteristics of reservoirs and fluids from Taixing Oil field.It is considered that water absorptivity is mainly affected by water sensitive damages and precipitation and scaling caused by the incompatibility between injection and formation waters.The key to improved water quality lies in economic and effective autiexpander and anti scale being dosed timely,regularly and quantitatively.
