Abstract: The geochemical field of the Hefei Basin belongs to that of low background values, low moisture and inhomogeneity. The concentration of hydrocarbon indexes is high on the periphery of the basin and low in the middle. On the whole, the geochemical anomalies are strong in the east and weak in the west, and zoning in the south and the north. 3-D fluorescence diagrams of the samples within the anomalous zones mainly belong to type B, with type P following it.This corresponds to the characteristics of light oil and coal-formed hydrocarbon. From the geochemical view, the next exploration work was suggested to continuously apply the integrated exploration technology to explain the various kinds of geochemical anomalies on the key areas of Wushanmiao-Shuangdunji, Taoxi-Sanhe and Caoan-Zhuxiang-Bailongzheng.
