Abstract: Taking Dongying sag as an example, this paper elucidates zonary distribution feature of hydrocarbon in a rifted-basin. By analyzing structure,sedimentation and migration and accumulation of oil and gas, the pool-forming mechanism is discussed by geological analogy. Based on the above, the exploration focus in Huimin sag in the future is determined.
