Abstract: Some divisions of the Jurassic sequence stratigraphy in the Junggar Basin are comparied, and problems in sequence divisions are discussed. Based on the systematic studies of the Jurassic sequence stratigraphy on East Fukang Slope and the near area, a new division of the Jurassic sequence stratigraphy is proposed,which includes six stratigraphic sequences or two tectonic sequences.
