Abstract: The characteristics of the Mesozoic volcanic rock in the Songliao Basin reflect that this basin is a backarc rift basin.According to a great amount of drilling and seismic data and based on tectonic evolutionary analysis,sedimentary facies analysis and depositional filling type analysis,the depositional filling pattern of this type of basins is established in this paper.
