Abstract: The paper approaches the fracture characters of middle-upper Jurassic reservoirs in northern Turpan-Hami basin,based on the analyses of the data from cast thin sections and scanning electron microscopicobservations,It is considered that the fractures were formed in four different stages(times),and basicallycan be classified into five types.Fracture is one of essential factors that would improve reservoir properties.
