Abstract: This paper introduces softwares of the ARC/INFO and Arc View into integrated research of petroleum geology,and discusses their functions and methods of the input,edit and macro-mappong on petroleum exploration and development data.The authors suggest that the ARC/INFO and Arc View will become the main softwares in study of petroleum geology,because the softwares improve greatly the efficiency and precision of integrated analysis of petroleum geology.
