Abstract: Aquantitative determinatiom of rare Sr and Ba in silicate rocks and muddy sourcerocks by atomic emission spectro metry(AES) was suggested. Based on various test underdifferent conditions,the experiment method process as well as the spectral-line pairs andmeasurement rang were determined.
