Abstract: Based on the study on the drilling geology,outcrop sections and petrology characters tics of carbonate rocks in the Lower Permian series of South Sichuan,the authors discuss all sidely fissure types and fissuring mechanism in the fissure reservoirs of carbonate rocks and their significance to the migration and accumulation of natural gases.
