Abstract: Lower Cretaceous deposit is an important hydrocarbon bearing horizon of Tarim Basin. In this paper,more systematic and detailed research is carried out on the sedimentary facies of Early Cretaceous strata, and the oil/gas prospects of Lower Cretaceous series are also expounded from various respects as the characteristics of sedimentary facies and reservoir rocks and so on.
