Abstract: In this paper,the geochemical characteristics and geiietic types of nattiral gas in the North Tarim Basin are comprehensively analysed from the respects of gas compositioins.carbon isotopes and associated condensates.Moreover,the gas sotirces of natural gas in this area are approached by means of carbon isotope characteristics and migration index(△Ｒ_３).
