Abstract: The both sides of the Bachu Uplift in the west Tarim Basin,especially the MaigaitiSlope of the west side,are prospective oil land and key exploration area in the near futureas well.In this paper,the basic characteristics of petroleum geology of this area and its generating-bearing-capping relations have been approached,and some proposals for exploration deployment have then been suggested.
