Abstract: The overthrust structural zone on the north margin of the Lajishan Mts.,the southern Qilian Mts.,formed after Miocene,and all the faults like listric shape and converged toward a united detachment sole in the deep crust.It is considered that the discovery of such a structure would expand the oil/gas prospective area in the Minhe Basin
