Abstract: In this paper,the chemical data from formation water of the Y-1 well in W-depression have been systematized in order to study the hydrogeochemical characteristics and genetic types. Furthermore,the stratigraphic division and oil-gas prediction are proposed on the basis of hydrogeochemical analysis.
